Obituary
Marjorie Jane Doyle was born February 1, 1922 in her grandfather’s home in Duncan, Oklahoma to Fred Oscar Moore and Kate (Burkleo) Moore. She passed peacefully at her home in Guthrie on Monday, July 25, 2022. Jane moved to Guthrie in 1964 where she taught Vocational Home Economics at Guthrie High School for many years before retirement. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church. She and William (Bill) Doyle were married in the early 1970’s with him preceding her in death. She has also been preceded in death by her parents, husband Harley B. Oliver and son William H.B. Oliver.
Jane is survived by: her son, Terry Gene Oliver, of Guthrie, her daughter, Sandra Kay Oliver of Missouri, two grandsons, numerous greats and great-greats, other relatives and friends.
There will be a graveside service at the City of Duncan Cemetery at 12:00 noon, Monday, August 1, 2022, with a memorial service at the First Presbyterian Church in Guthrie, at 1:00 pm, Friday, August 5th.
