Trina Sue Dixon, 79, peacefully passed at home Sunday, March 7, surrounded by family. Trina was the daughter of the late Harry and Doris Loria of Salem, Ohio. She had two daughters, Ronda Rakes (Rick) of Smithfield, VA and Terri Knighton-Christian (Russ) of Edmond, OK, with whom she lived. In addition to her daughters, she leaves behind her husband of 31 years, Paul Jenkins, stepdaughters, Loriann Johnson (Joe) and Lisa Starrett (Larry) of Kansas, Shannon Jarrett (Tim) of Michigan, granddaughters, Kaitlyn and Hannah of Edmond and great-grandson, Connor of Virginia. She was preceded in death by stepson, Paul Jenkins, III.
Trina was a seasoned hairdresser and instructor and taught many students over the years. Trina loved music. Many hours were spent singing and dancing with her daughters especially around the Christmas season. She sang in choirs throughout her life including one at Community Church. She also loved her pets that she lived with; Scoop, her cat and Poppy and Sinbad, her dogs, as well as the horses.
Most importantly, Trina loved God and lived a faithful life. She worshipped her Lord and brought her daughters to love the Lord as well.

Calling hours will be held at Community Funeral Home, 1624 N. Pine, in Guthrie on Thursday, March 11th from 12-6. Her Celebration of life will be held at 11 am on Friday, March 12th at Community Church, 512 E. Seward Road, Guthrie. Interment will follow at Memory Gardens Memorial Cemetery.
